Hunter Suite – 1.1.8 (updated)

- Fixed a problem when you’ve got more that 999 items (correctly this time)
- Support for PPC enabled again (also in plug-ins)
- Removed libreria universitaria plug-ins the weren’t working correctly

Updated the DVD Hunter download and included Amazon FR plug-in. I’m sorry I’ve got some trouble with build management.

I use a lot of time the script created by rossy! to download videos from youtube.

The extension i’ve prepared is only a stupid package to easily install the script in Safari. You can download it here

Hi

I’m working, slowly, but I’m still working on my software projects

Hunter Suite 1.X: I’m fixing bugs and adding a few small features. The next update will be fully PPC compatible again, I’m sorry for the 1.1.7 problems with PPC Leopard users.

Risk Probability: the update is ready and will be published soon on the App Store

Hunter Suite 2.0: Project renamed, will be Library Hunter.

Library Hunter: I’m working on it, I’ve finished to project and define the database, and I’m writing the code to manage it. The iOS version will works and 4.X version, I’m not sure what specific version of 4.X release will be required. The Mac version will works on Snow Leopard, and probably the final version will works on Lion only. The required OS X version will depends on API available, release date of Lion, release date of final version of LH :p. The stable version of LH will be available on App Store, beta and test version will be published outside of the store.

You can enable additional log when syncing:

FAQ on future development

I’ll write on this post the answer to the most asked question on future development

When Music Hunter will be released?
The music software will be available only with HS 2.0 release.

Could you please create a unique software for DVD, Games, and books?
The HS 2.0 release will be available as single software.

Why Amazon.it plug.in is still missing?
The amazon plug-ins doesn’t read data from the amazon website, but I’m using the AWS E-Commerce service. This service isn’t available yet for italian website.

Could you please add fields to save new information and data?
No. I’ll not edit the database in 1.X branch. You can suggest all the modification you would like… I’ll consider them when planning the 2.0 release.

Could you please french, spanish … localizations?
I’ll not add any new localization in HS 1.X.

Do you have any plans for Android App like Hunter Touch
No yet.

Hunter Suite 2.0
The version 2.0 of HS will be a single software.
Desktop version will works on Snow Leopard and Lion, or maybe Lion only.
Mobile version will works on iOS 4.X

Do you have an idea when you will release of the HS 2.0?
No I’m only beginning to project and plan it
