I’m sorry for the bug introduced in last patches. I’ve got some troubles when removing external plug-ins dependencies to edit the project using Xcode 4.

This update should fix the crash with iOS 3.1.3. I’m not sure that the fix will work because I can’t test it on iOS 3.1.3 anymore.

The last version of Xcode is really annoying when developing for PPC too, because all the template and compiler default values now ignore them, so I need to check and enable PPC manually in each application/library…

Library Hunter
The development of Library Hunter is slowly proceeding, I’m working using a partial test driven development. I’m writing also test code for the most important part of application, this should grant less bugs in application

I’m reading right now of Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud news. The new API available will influence the development of Library Hunter for both Mac and iOS.

For Mac: Library Hunter will work only on Lion. I’ll be able to take advantage of new GUI controls, autolayout, and other new APIs.

For iOS: I’ll probably target iOS 5 only, the new iOS have got a lot of useful new features that might be really useful in Library Hunter.

iCloud: I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use iCloud for document storage and sync. I’ll check the constraints on file size, update frequency, to check if I’ll try to support it to sync database between Mac and iOS, Mac & Mac, iOS & iOS. I might have problem for covers too, because Mac OS X supports JPG2000, iOS 5 only JPG.
Update:The database size should not be a problem, iCloud offer 5GB of storage, my database with 1400+ records require 67MB of space for data and covers (not the files).

Hunter Suite 1.X: I’ll update HS to work without major bugs on Lion. Probably I’ll drop the leopard support, I’m sorry for leo users but the percentage of users using leopard is rapidly dropping and I rather concentrate my development on Library Hunter.

Hunter Touch
Hunter Touch: I’ll update it for iOS 5, if Library Hunter will not be ready and released before iOS 5. If there are crash and major bugs I’ll fix them.
