This version is a small update to fix an ancient bug.
Some autocomplete plug-ins like amazon sent to Hunter Suite names (like Director, Author …) in format “FirstName LastName” so you’re able to sort correctly your books by Author, or movies by director. To fix the problem i’ve modified all the plug-ins to return name in correct order, but there is one thing missing i need to edit al the items currently saved in Hunter Suite.
This operation isn’t automatic to flip all the names you need to:

1. Close the Hunter Suite
2. Open console and enter one of following
for Dvd Hunter:defaults write org.JAres.Hunter\ Suite.Dvd\ Hunter flipLastFirstNameInItems -bool yes
for Book Hunter:defaults write org.JAres.Hunter\ Suite.Book\ Hunter flipLastFirstNameInItems -bool yes
3. Launch again Hunter Suite

You need to to this only if you’re using primarily one of the following plug-ins:
DVD Hunter (Amazon, bol.com, IBS, Film Up)
Book Hunter (Amazon, bol.com)
Game Hunter instead doesn’t have any problems, so you don’t have to do nothing .

Why i’ve chosen this strange way to do this:
1. Not all the users need to do this so making it automatically could create problem
2. You need to do this only once, so inserting this feature in a menu with it’s button was a little bit useless

Little Final Note: the flipping of name will not update the date modified of your items so if you want to sync this changes with Hunter Touch you need to select the option “replace all the items during next sync…”.

Rearranged Preferences

Preferences has been cleaned and rearranged. A lot of useless options as been deleted. Some other advanced particular option are still present but hidden: there aren’t visible in preferences GUI but they’re still available to setup using the command line tool "defaults". I’ll update the preferences help soon.

Current version has only one hidden preferences: the old Suggestion (to change capitalization of suggestion). You can edit it’s value using command:
defaults write org.JAres.Hunter\ Suite.Dvd\ Hunter noCaseModificationToSuggestions -bool yes
The default value of this preference is no: the suggestions will have the first letter of each word capitalized.
If you select yes instead the suggestions will be exactly the same sentences you wrote in your items.

With the new GUI for Synchronization syncing with all the hunter suite softwares available on a mac is much easier.
You need only to open them, than click to sync with your computer. Hunter Touch will sync with all of them

The most annoying bug afflict iPhone Syncing: HS 0.9.6 on snow can’t resize covers for iPhone.
If you sync with this version you’ll have oversized covers that will hide each others and hide title of items.

Snow user’s: you need to install HS 1.0 Beta to sync with iPhone.

After you’ve installed the updated version of HS you probably will need to replace all the items of HT when syncing. You can choose that option from the Sync Window.

iSight Barcode Scanning

Sight Barcode Scanning is based on BarCode Scanner released by Bruji.
I’ve tested this feature only with internal iSight.

Date Formatting

The updated Date Formatting Management works better than older one . It doesn’t have problems with smart-lists and will save only the selected part of date (for example if you select year only you’ll not have any more month and day information saved in database).
When you select a formatter it will be applied to all future modification. Instead to update the past information you’ll have to press the apply formatter button, you got to do this only when you update formatters.

Using Tweet is really simple:
- select some text somewhere
- right click on it
- select “Tweet”…
your browser will open twitter and prepare the updated status.

The zip file contains an installer package that requires admin password to get installed… i don’t like this solution very much… but it’s the easiest way to install it :/.
You could check with SuspiciousPackage that package will install only 2 files:
- "Tweet This" in "/Library/Automator" the automator action used by service (you can also use it in your automator workflow)
- "Tweet" in "/Library/Services" the service
