    I was wondering if you were going to create a better user interface that allows one to see books in various ways such as in a bookshelf format, or cover thumbnails in the list view or instead of a list view an icon view of thumbnails?

    first of all I want to compliment you on the suite.
    Is it possible to publish some sample code of the plugins. I want to create an autocomplete plugin for MovieMeter.nl, but have trouble getting started. If you could publish the code of one of the Amazon plugins you created, that would be of great help.

    I love this app!
    I was wondering if you had plans to allow for organizing books by the author’s last name. Right now if you organize by Author, it puts it in order by first name. This would help those who like to organize their books alphabetically.

    I just installed the newest version and lost my whole database.
    The good thing is that I might have a backup available on the TimeMachine. But I cant open the Dvd-Hunter-Library.xml with the Program. How can i import the File?
    Every help is very welcome.

    Hi. From what version did you try to update? Dvd hunter probably creates a backup before trying to update, send me your correct library file i’ll see why the update failed.

    First a suggestion. You have several importers and exporters in as downloadable plugins. I would suggest that they are included in the main download for the simple reason their existence is easily overlooked when comparing several different programs at the same time. Or if that doesn’t work for you, how about a note in the importers and exporters option in the menu directing to the plug-ins for more formats?

    Now a request: I would be very nice to see in the PDF export an option to include book covers. I’ve been keeping my own list in a PDF with a book image by each description.

    I also have an index in my hand made PDF that hyperlinks to the page containing the book description. This would be a nice touch to Hunter and make sharing and printing look very nice.

    I have noticed one cosmetic error. I imported a sample book. In its description some html was included. This displays correctly in Book Hunter. However it does not get processed when exporting to PDF.

    I just updated to 5.9.1 everytime I open it, it crashes… running 10.5.6 rather sick about loosing data I’ve already entered.

    You’re right a lot of user ask me if Book Hunter can print… i’ll see what solution works best :)

    i know i wasn’t able to fix it yet… i need to clean the summary download from amazon and remove the html code

    First of all congratulations with the program!!! I was planning to create one similar myself, but err… I just found myself too lazy :D

    I am very pleased of the Book Hunter and DVD Hunter… they are the kind of programs I was looking for a very long time… seems that my search has finally ended!

    I am looking forward to the iPod touch version of the program… if it syncs with the Desktop programs that would blow me away!

    solo una richiesta… l-identificativo sequenziale parte da 1 a x… ma se provo ad ordinare in base all’identificativo ottengo qualcosa del genere:
    1
    10
    11
    2
    3
    4
    etc…
    in pratica il campo identificativo dovrebbe essere qualcosa del tipo 00001, 00002, 00003etc…
    ciau!!!

    I download and entered some data to test it out.. Great tool to organize dvds. I have one question.. I see only title in my main menu.. I see your screen shot it gives other details.. I don;t know how to add other fields .. I tried all
