A comment on the duration sort feature: it uses the localizable OS X conversion feature from string to number. This function has only one limitation: assume a decimal representation and skipping whitespace at the beginning of the string. So Dvd Hunter will correctly sort “120 min.” or ” 120 ecc…” but will not work properly with “min 120″, that will be sorted under 0 minutes.
I’ll not insert a smarter function to parse the string because this conversion is executed a lot of time and having a complex function could result in slower performances.

I’ve updated all the plug-ins to support Book Hunter.
I’ve also fixed an ancient bug: the plug-ins when launched now correctly appears on the top of others applications.
The Pdf Exporter now can directly print your lists.

Book Hunter is a software to catalog books. It’s UB and works on leopard.
This version has got all the functions of the others software, but it’s a test version so probably it contains bugs…

Why releasing an update only to fix 2 bugs?
Well because the second one it’s a little bit annoying, because it blocks the creation of List and Smart List. Sorry.

Hi.

Now that i’ve finally finished the update of the suite :D. Parallel to the bug fixing i’ll work on 2 things:

iPhone port

It’s the first time i’m trying to develop on the iphone. So i’ll build some little test application, before beginning the work on Librarian Hunter Touch (well i need to find a name for it =P). Have you got any suggestion?
I rather trying developing something a smaller application to understood the differences of development for iphone from OS X, and to avoid some horrible choice in code that could limit future development without a lot a re-factoring of code (as happened for Dvd Hunter).

Book Hunter

I’ll expand the hunter suite, and add the application to catalog and organize books :). I need it much more than the one to sort my music, so i’ll develop this one before =P

Plug-Ins

To support the modification of the new version of Dvd & Game Hunter, i’ve updated:
CSV Importer (version 1.2.4)
PDF Exporter (version 1.3.3)
PDF Exporter for Tiger (version 1.3.2)

I’ve also prepared a new plug-in
XML Importer with this plug-in you can quickly import data exported using the “Xml Exporter” (i need it to quickly synchronize my macs without each time importing-exporting also cover images)

You can install them using the plug-in installer of the Hunter Suite
